Meet Martijn - Strategic Advisor, Coach, and Mentor for High-Capacity Leaders

I help high-capacity founders and leaders turn complex questions into clear decisions, practical structure, and aligned action.

I listen for the pattern underneath the noise, name what is already there, then we use sharp questions and strategic perspective to turn insight into decisions and action.

My background blends strategy and systems thinking with hands-on experience in cloud, data, AI, and complex delivery across startups and enterprises.

What exactly do you do?

I’m a strategic advisor, coach, and mentor working with high-capacity founders, agency owners, and leaders. I help you turn complex questions into clear decisions, practical structure, and focused action, so what you see can become visible in real outcomes.

What does working with me look like?

It starts with a conversation, not a formula. I listen for the underlying pattern, reflect it back clearly, then we use advisory, coaching, and mentoring to turn it into structure, focus, and a next move you can act on.

Do I need a clear goal before we start?

No. Clarity is often the first result. Some people arrive with a defined challenge, others with a sense that something is stuck. We shape the goal together as we go.

What’s the first step?

Book a short call. We will look at what you are facing, what you are seeing that is not landing yet, and what progress would actually look like. Then we decide if this is a fit.

How does your technology background shape the work?

Years in cloud, data, AI, automation, and complex delivery trained me to work well with systems under pressure. I look for patterns, dependencies, leverage points, and failure modes, then translate them into decisions people can understand and act on.

That background matters because the work is rarely just personal or just technical. The useful questions often sit between people, systems, incentives, technology, and execution.

Who do you work best with?

I work best with high-capacity founders, leaders, and gifted professionals who think fast and deep, see patterns early, and feel the friction when others do not follow. If you are carrying complexity that is not fully coming through in decisions, communication, or execution, this work tends to click quickly.

Is this advisory, coaching, or mentoring?

It is a blend. Advisory brings strategic judgment and structure. Coaching helps surface the real pattern. Mentoring adds practical perspective from years inside technology, strategy, and complex delivery.

The outcome is sharper questions, clearer choices, and next steps you can use.

Questions You Can Bring

You do not need a perfect brief. The work often starts with the question you keep carrying.

→  We need to do something with AI, but what actually makes sense for us?
→  I see where this is going, but I cannot get the team or stakeholders aligned.
→  I am being pulled into too many decisions. What should stay with me, and what should move elsewhere?
→  The strategy sounds good, but execution keeps getting stuck. What is really happening?
→  I need to make a difficult call, but every option has consequences.
→  I have outgrown the way I currently work, lead, or structure my role. What needs to change?

Clarity

Together we move through complexity, cut through the noise, and surface the pattern underneath.

For gifted leaders, the issue is rarely insight. It is getting that insight into focus, language, and a shared frame others can follow.

The same principles that simplify complex systems apply to leadership: once you see the architecture clearly, alignment becomes natural.

Direction

Once you see clearly, we translate that clarity into choices you can act on, week after week.

We define priorities, tradeoffs, and a rhythm that fits how you operate, so your potential becomes visible in decisions, not just in your head.

Years in large-scale programs taught me that direction only works when vision and structure move together, the same balance I help you design here.

Growth

Growth becomes sustainable when the structure supports it.

Together we build habits, boundaries, and simple systems that protect your energy and make progress repeatable, so you can keep building without losing yourself along the way.

Think of it as scaling your internal architecture: sustainable growth built on clarity, not chaos.

You already know how to build fast.

But speed is not the problem anymore.

This is about bringing your potential fully online, translating what you see into decisions others can follow, and building in a way that holds up, without losing yourself along the way.

How The Work Moves

The work follows a simple loop: notice the pattern, name it clearly, choose the next decision, then make it operational.

The tools come last. We use whatever helps turn what you see into language, structure, and action that creates real value in your work and leadership.

Choose The Right Level

Start small if you want a focused push. Go deeper if the question touches strategy, communication, and execution. Either way, we turn insight into decisions you can actually act on.

Start With A Conversation

Not sure where to begin? Book a short call. We will map what is going on, what needs a decision, and what support would make the biggest difference.

Focused Clarity Session

A focused session to create clarity and momentum around one specific decision, challenge, or conversation.

Strategic Deep Dive

A deeper advisory and coaching engagement around priorities, strategy, communication, and the decisions that shape the next chapter.

High performance isn’t about doing more, it’s about doing what matters. The leaders who grow deepest are the ones who learn when to pause,
and how to move with intention.

That’s where clarity becomes strength, and direction turns potential into contribution.
From Systems to Clarity

After years in data, AI, and automation, I learned that progress depends less on tools and more on clarity. The same is true for teams and people. When the pattern becomes visible, decisions get easier.

Why I’m Here

I have always experienced the world intensely, thinking, feeling, and noticing more than most.
For a long time I did not have a name for that. I was drawn to complexity: ideas, systems, and people who wanted to go deep instead of fast.

Over time I learned that giftedness is not about being smarter. It is about being wired differently, with a sensitivity to nuance, curiosity, and possibility.

That understanding now shapes how I advise, coach, and mentor.
I help deep thinkers and fast movers build structure around their intensity so that depth becomes direction instead of exhaustion.

My purpose is to bring that to the surface, with structure, reflection, and the right questions.

How I Work

Through Eglue, I work with founders, leaders, and gifted professionals who move fast and think deeply.

My approach draws on a set of proven strategy and leadership tools, shaped by lived experience leading global teams through real complexity. From large scale cloud and architecture work to strategic alignment and leadership growth, I focus on what makes progress repeatable.

Together we build a rhythm that protects your energy, a structure that keeps you clear under pressure, and alignment that connects ambition with purpose. You leave each session with fresh perspective, sharper clarity, and practical next steps you can use right away.

Structure, Rhythm, and Alignment

Clarity without rhythm fades. This work helps you slow down enough to see what matters, then build a cadence that fits your brain and your life, so progress stays real and repeatable.

Depth with Direction

Depth is powerful, but without direction it can turn into noise or constant motion. Real growth happens when focus, rhythm, and energy point the same way.

In this work, that means slowing down enough to see clearly, then choosing what matters and acting on it. It is not about intensity for its own sake, but about channeling that intensity into steady progress that holds.

Depth with Direction turns insight into movement, and movement into momentum. It is the difference between working hard and working in tune with what matters most.

The Work Today

Work moves fast and attention is fragmented. Gifted leaders often carry more complexity than their environment can digest.

My work helps you slow down just enough to decide well, then move with intention.

How the Process Works

Phase 1: Discovery & Framing

We start by creating a clear picture of what you are carrying, what needs a decision, and where the system around you is creating noise.

Through conversation, reflection, and a small set of assessment tools when useful, we identify the patterns shaping how you lead, decide, communicate, and execute. When it fits, that can include the Big 5 of Strategy.

Phase 2: Debrief & Decide

In a one-to-one session, we translate what surfaced into insight you can actually use.

You gain clarity on what is driving the situation, what is draining focus, and which tradeoffs or decisions need to be made next.

Phase 3: Structure & Apply

Together, we turn insight into direction.

We define concrete next steps, operating rhythm, and simple practices that connect your vision to daily action, so progress becomes easier to repeat.

Phase 4: Sustain & Adjust

Progress does not end with insight. It holds through rhythm, reflection, and follow-through.

We put light structure and check points in place so you stay aligned under pressure, adjust as reality changes, and keep your impact moving in the right direction.

Let's Talk

If you are carrying complexity, potential, or a decision your current context cannot quite hold, let’s talk.

In a short call, we will map what is going on, what you want next, and what kind of support would make the biggest difference. No pitch. Just clarity on whether this is a fit.
